The goal of this certificate is to equip students to work as work-based learning and development practitioners. A learning and development practitioner develops, sets learning goals, chooses and adjusts learning resources needed to conduct learning interventions, and supports learning in the workplace.
The foundation of the Normative abilities programme is work-based learning and Development Practitioner, where students can put the abilities they are exposed to in the Normative Skills workshop and modules into practise and develop them in the workplace.
By bridging the gap between theory and practise in normative skills, work-based learning strives to develop a well-rounded actuarial professional.
The Work-Based Learning approach is a great introduction to the CPD process you will start after receiving your degree or certificate.
