Boilermakers assemble, install and repair boilers, closed vats and other large vessels or containers that hold liquids and gases. Candidates are more likely to get into training programs if they already have welding experience and certification.
The duration of each level is Three months. Therefore a TRIMESTER timetable is followed, with registration in January, April and August, enabling the successful student to accumulate THREE national certificates during one year.
Certificates are awarded by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), All qualifications are nationally recognized by industries and universities.
