A master electrician has progressed beyond the apprentice and journeyman levels in their employment. They train journeyman electricians and are in charge of inspecting blueprints, devising electrical plans, and supervising large-scale projects. A master electrician is also someone who has the qualifications, training, experience, and technical knowledge required to plan, lay out, and supervise the installation and repair of electrical wiring apparatus and equipment for electric light, heat, and power in accordance with the standard rules and regulations governing such work.
